Due to our rapid growth, Intero Integrity Services is hiring for a Manufacturing Technician Intern in our Toronto location.

Position Summary

 The ideal Manufacturing Technician Intern candidate has a base knowledge of mechanical systems, loves a technical challenge, is self-motivated yet thrives in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing projects by assisting Machine Shop, Mold Shop or Assembly teams as required

Duties may include:

• preparing material and parts for next operations

• manual machining of mechanical parts

• running setup parts on CNC machines

• molding and demolding of integrated cast parts

• performing testing and part quality checks

• general assembly and disassembly of robotic modules

Collaborate and cooperate with team members and assist others in the performance of their duties as needed

Take personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of work.

Updating logs or documentation as work progresses, communicate clearly to other team members.

Contribute to keeping the shop areas clean, organized, maintained and safe

What you should bring to the team:

Experience

• Thrive in a cross-disciplinary team-based environment

• Strong work ethic and ability to work calmly under pressure

• Attention to detail, ownership of work quality and output

• Task oriented and capable of following through until completion

• Strong hands-on skills, electro-mechanically inclined

• Ability and interest in learning

• Base knowledge of mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and diagrams

• Computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office

Education

• Recently graduated or enrolled in an Engineering Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics or manufacturing program at University, College or a comparable program
