Position Summary
As a Polyurethane Technician, you will join the production team in creating parts that will be used for R&D testing, customer sales, as well as commercial projects. As we continue to serve our clients, these parts must be completed with high precision, zero to low failure rates, and within scheduling requirements. Maintaining an exceptional level of quality, as well as a strong attention to detail, are key attributes of this role. In addition, the successful candidate can work independently and enjoy creating excellence with repeatable tasks.
What You'll Do
As a Polyurethane Technician, you'll be responsible for producing high-precision urethane parts used across R&D testing, customer orders, and commercial projects — with zero-to-low failure rates and on-schedule delivery. This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in repeatable, precision work and enjoys mastering a hands-on craft.
Load, mix, and mold urethane components
Finish parts: trimming, filing, labeling
Perform quality control (self and peer checks)
Complete light assembly and testing
Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Perform mold and equipment maintenance
Track and report basic output and failure-rate metrics
Support process, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all Health & Safety protocols — safety always comes first
What You Bring
Ability to learn and follow manufacturing procedures and documentation
Strong hands-on skills with rigorous attention to detail
Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision
Solid written and verbal English communication skills
Basic computer skills to update documentation and communicate with the team
A safety-first mindset, including proper PPE use
Comfort with high-volume, repeatable production work while maintaining quality
Nice to Have
Experience working with chemicals (polyurethane, release agents, solvents) in a shop setting
Background in manufacturing or production environments
Experience operating polyurethane mixing equipment
Familiarity with electrical or machine control systems
