These parts must be completed with high precision, zero-to-low failure rates, and within scheduling requirements. Comfort operating production machinery, working around heated equipment, and following exact process parameters are key to this role. Perform open pouring of heated material into heated molds, following defined temperature, timing, and fill parameters
Monitor mixing machine settings and mold temperatures throughout the process, adjusting as needed to maintain consistent output
Load and prepare molds prior to pour; demold and finish parts (trimming, filing, labeling) after cure
Perform in-process and final quality control checks (self and peer inspections) against documented specifications
Complete light assembly and functional testing
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production workspace
Perform routine maintenance on the mixing machine, molds, and related tooling
Track and report production output, cycle time, and failure-rate metrics
Support process improvement, documentation updates, and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all Health & Safety protocols — including safe handling of heated equipment and molds †safety always comes first
What You Bring
Experience or strong aptitude operating production or mixing machinery in a manufacturing environment
Comfort working around heated equipment and heated molds, following required safety procedures
Ability to read and follow machine settings, work instructions, process specifications, and SOPs
Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with rigorous attention to detail
Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision in a production setting
Solid written and verbal English communication skills
Basic computer skills to update production documentation and communicate with the team
A safety-first mindset, including proper PPE use (e.g., heat-resistant gloves and protective equipment)
Comfort with high-volume, repeatable production work while maintaining quality standards
Nice to Have
Experience operating mixing, dispensing, or open-pour casting equipment
Background in manufacturing, production, or industrial process environments
Familiarity with electrical or machine control systems
Experience working with process materials (e.g., polyurethane, release agents, solvents) in a shop setting
